Books!

Sorry no Must-Read Monday yesterday; busy day, then DH needed to use the computer for copying over church sermon tapes to CD last night. So, I'll just share what kind of goodness we found at the library yesterday:

Me (and DH, too): The newest Pern novel, the newest Timothy Zahn "Dragon &" novel, a murder mystery and a 2001 anthology of the year's best sci-fi short stories. Oh, and a book of lateral thinking puzzles, and a book on Civil War history crafts for kids. (Watch for the coming review.)

The Kiddo: Didn't find anything he wanted to check out, but he bought two volumes of poetry and a juvenile mystery from the library bookstore. The poetry books were what he wanted; the mystery was just a suggested throw-in from me because he needed one more book to get the "3 for a quarter" deal.

The Munchkin: The Peanuts Treasury, Gazelles, a book on respect, the New Book of Knowledge (vol. A) and... "Basic Physics: A Self-Teaching Guide". No. I'm not joking.
