Frugal Friday

Today's tip is about coupons, something I use a lot!

When a store is running a Buy One, Get One sale you get to use a coupon on EACH item, or off the two items if your coupon is for two. So, if you have a 50 cents off one Kelloggs cereal coupon, and it's BOGO at the store this week, use TWO coupons for a total of $1.00 off. If you have a coupon for, say, 75 cents off two (not as good, but hey) then you can use that. Even though the store is "giving" you the second item for free, you're still buying it.

There are a *few* stores around the country that aren't set up to do this, but in general most stores can accept a coupon on the "free" item just fine. Try it, and double your savings!
